Air Ticketing Officer

Overview

An Air Ticketing Officer is responsible for booking and issuing flight tickets, handling reservations, and providing travel information to customers. This role requires knowledge of airline booking systems, fare calculations, and travel regulations to ensure seamless ticketing services.

Responsibilities

• Make bookings and purchase airline tickets for customers. • Purchase tickets in bulk for package tours. • Give travelers travel advice and information on how to purchase tickets. • Plan, schedule, and purchase travel tickets in accordance with your travel preferences. • After consumers receive their trip tickets, collect the necessary fares from them. • Introduce the firm to other companies that offer travel-related services. • Any additional tasks that your supervisor or the CEO assigns

Requirements

• Requirements for qualification: SSSCE, HND, or degree • Three years of experience in the field • Proficiency in one of the two GDSs—Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre—would be advantageous. • Outstanding interpersonal and written communication abilities • Solid practical knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, among other fundamental computer programs • Excellent looks, well-groomed, and a clear voice • Shown capacity to sell tickets and remain composed under pressure • Deep comprehension of organizational methods and regulations • Skills in sales and customer service
