Structural Engineer

Overview

You will be in charge of evaluating possible farmlands, creating thorough 2D and 3D pen drawings, and supplying thorough documentation along with cost estimates. You will also work with craftspeople to supervise the building process and guarantee that projects are finished on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Site Assessment: Evaluate prospective farmlands in-depth, taking into account variables including climate, zoning laws, soil condition, and water availability. • Pen Design: Create creative and useful pen designs that cater to the individual requirements of our animals while keeping efficiency, biosecurity, and animal welfare in mind. • 3D Modelling: To visualize the suggested structures and see possible issues or enhancements, make intricate 3D models of pen designs. • Records and Approximations: For every agricultural project, provide thorough documentation, such as requirements, cost estimates, and designs. • Cooperation with craftsmen: To guarantee that the building process follows the design guidelines and schedule, collaborate closely with craftsmen and contractors. • Project management: Keep an eye on developments, supervise the building process, and resolve any problems that may come up. • Budget Management: Keep an eye on the project budget to make sure that expenses match projections and that resources are used effectively. • Quality Assurance: Examine finished products to make sure they adhere to the strictest requirements for functionality and quality.

Requirements

• Architecture or a similar discipline at the bachelor's degree level • Demonstrated expertise in project management and architectural design with a solid understanding of industry standards and building codes • Knowledge in 2D and 3D design programs, such as AutoCAD and Revit • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively; enthusiasm for animal welfare and sustainable agriculture
