Overview

Finding new business prospects, creating strategic alliances, and promoting adoption and growth are the duties of a business development manager.

Responsibilities

• Define important enterprise leads in the nation's grocery and retail sectors while negotiating and closing transactions by cultivating a solid rapport with industry partners. • Keep in touch with business partners via a variety of channels to assist their development, serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding, handle operational concerns, and guarantee the best possible client experiences. It also entails defining growth and marketing strategies, analyzing key performance metrics, and coordinating efforts to promote monetization and performance improvement. • Oversee budgeting, evaluate performance indicators for insights into improvement, and predict growth patterns to gauge the accomplishment of corporate objectives. • During growth phases, create and implement operational plans that are in line with the commercial strategy to handle obstacles and guarantee a seamless activation of business partners. • Keep up with industry developments and competition while helping to create frameworks and playbooks that will enhance corporate operations. • To propel business growth, collaborate closely with the marketing, product, customer success, campaigns, partner operations, and customer support departments.

Requirements

• You have at least three to five years of experience in account management, grocery/retail business development, B2B sales, or similar roles, and you have a track record of hitting sales and company growth goals. • You have outstanding oral and written communication skills and speak English and the local language with ease. • You can influence decision-makers and establish enduring bonds with business partners because to your excellent communication and negotiating abilities. • With your excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, you can use data to make decisions and get insights that can improve partner performance. • You have the ability to proactively handle difficulties, swiftly adjust to changes, and create solutions that work.
