Accurate transaction processing, payment management, and first-rate customer service are all under the cashier's purview. Among the responsibilities are greeting clients, responding to questions, running cash registers, and keeping track of daily sales. In addition, the position entails handling complaints, processing refunds, and making sure that items are appropriately wrapped or packed.
• Greeting clients, responding to their enquiries, and offering suggestions or counsel. • Running cash registers, scales, scanners, and other devices. • Creating reports for credit and debit sales and keeping the cash register balanced. • Taking payments, making sure that all costs and amounts are correct, and providing each client with a receipt. • Handling exchanges and refunds and handling grievances. • Putting things in bags or wrapping them to guarantee safe transportation.
• A high school diploma or its equivalent. • Experience as a cashier or in customer service. • The capacity to manage transactions ethically and accurately. • High vitality and excellent customer service abilities. • Fundamental computing and math abilities.
