DevOps Lead

Overview

We are looking to add a professional and driven DevOps Lead to our team. You will be instrumental in preserving and enhancing our cloud computing infrastructure in this capacity. In order to guarantee the efficient operation of our systems and services, you will collaborate closely with our engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities

System and Network Administration: Oversee provisioning, configuring, and troubleshooting of cloud computing and network infrastructure.

Infrastructure Optimization: Constantly seek for ways to increase the scalability and efficiency of your infrastructure.

Security: To safeguard our systems and data, put best practices into operation and enforce them.

Backup and Recovery: To guarantee data availability and integrity, develop and oversee backup and recovery solutions.

Documentation: Keep thorough records of all system setups and operations.

Monitoring: Establish and oversee efficient infrastructure stack monitoring at all levels.

Platform engineering is the process of creating, managing, and debugging the tools and platforms that the engineering team uses to create products.

Requirements

3 years professional experience with linux/unix server management.

2 years professional experience with virtualization & containerization with docker.

Proficiency with git.

Prior experience with workload orchestration tools (nomad, kubernetes)

Prior experience with AWS / Azure / GCP

Experience configuring & managing databases (MariaDb & Postgres)

Experience with implementing Grafana/Loki/Prometheus/Tempo.

Knowledge of networking, including wireguard & cloudflare tunnels.

Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to Have:

Previous CI/CD implementation experience (using gitlab-ci, Jenkins, github actions, etc.)

Familiarity with setting up and maintaining database clusters.

Knowledge of implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform.

Expertise growing an organization's infrastructure in a growth stage.

PHP/Laravel development experience

Familiarity with Python development

Prior expertise in compliance and auditing.
