Video Editor

Overview

This position entails both producing interesting video material and being in charge of filming different projects. The ideal applicant will be able to manage projects from inception to conclusion and has a solid grasp of narrative.

Responsibilities

• Produce and edit videos that support the company's goals for a range of media, such as digital content, feature films, and documentaries. • Develop and hone creative approaches for video content in conjunction with the creative team. • Oversee the whole video production process, including pre-production planning, filming, editing, and delivery. • Manage a range of lighting apparatuses, digital cameras, and video cameras. • Edit video to tell tales that are coherent and clear, adding colour correction and extra effects as necessary. • Make certain that every project is completed to the highest levels of quality, on schedule, and within budget. • Keep all audio and video equipment in good working order.

Requirements

• A solid portfolio of work and shown expertise as a cinematographer and video editor. • Proficiency with editing programs such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or others. • Knowledgeable about lighting methods and adept at handling movie cameras. • Strong command of video content's timing, narrative, and audience interaction. • Outstanding time-management and organizing abilities. • The capacity to operate both alone and cooperatively in a hectic setting. • A degree in cinematography, film studies, or a similar discipline is desirable.
