Business Development Officer

Overview

The ideal applicant will be a seasoned and visionary leader in company development and strategic networking initiatives. In addition to supporting the delivery of genuine and high-quality qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis in the course of client engagements, this function is essential in forming and improving brand exposure and growing our clientele in Ghana.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a thorough brand plan to raise the company's profile in Ghana and other pertinent areas. • Create and market the business as a reliable source for credit ratings, research, and credit risk management. • Align the company's strategy with customer demands and market prospects. • Collaborate with designated teams within the group to market the company's services and core strengths by utilizing digital platforms, media sources, and industry events. • Find and create new business prospects by utilizing both established and emerging industry networks. • Oversee the development of customized proposals and pitches for clients in order to draw in and secure new business prospects. • Determine and respond to emerging market trends, maximizing brand positioning and revenue growth. • Create and preserve business connections with stakeholders and clients.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from a respectable university in a pertinent field. • Professional certificates or a master's degree in the relevant field are necessary. • At least five years of experience in a respectable company as a sales or business development officer. • Proven ability to use strategic strategy and execution to boost revenue and generate sales. • Excellent networking abilities for negotiating and concluding commercial agreements that support long-term profitability. • Strong familiarity with Ghana's macro environment, including trends and regulatory frameworks. • Outstanding interpersonal, business writing, presentation, and communication skills with a track record of involving stakeholders at all levels.
