Overview

The ideal applicant would have practical knowledge in procurement operations together with a solid foundation in accounting concepts. In order to support the goals of the company, this position is essential for maintaining accurate financial reporting, cost management, and effective procurement procedures.

Responsibilities

• Accurate financial records, such as financial statements, reconciliations, and general ledger entries, should be prepared, reviewed, and kept up to date. • Keep an eye on spending plans and budgets to make sure internal controls and financial laws are being followed. • Handle accounts payable and receivable, making sure that payments and collections are made on schedule. • Perform financial closing tasks on a weekly, quarterly, and yearly basis. • Compile tax returns and make sure all applicable tax laws are followed. • Oversee the procurement procedures, such as vendor selection, sourcing, and purchase order creation. • To guarantee cost effectiveness and quality standards, negotiate terms and contracts with suppliers. • To predict procurement needs, keep an eye on inventory levels and work with departments. • Maintain correct procurement records while making ensuring that products and services are delivered on time. • Determine, create, and maintain the price of goods and services. • Create and preserve a solid rapport with merchants and suppliers. • Review suppliers' performance on a regular basis to make sure they are fulfilling their end of the bargain. • Align accounting and procurement processes by collaborating closely with the supply chain, finance, and operations teams. • Examine procurement expenses and suggest ways to save expenditures. • Help with the creation of reports on the financial effect and performance of procurements.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline. It is advantageous to have professional credentials like as CPA, ACCA, or CMA. • Proficiency with procurement tools and accounting software, such as Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks. • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups. • Shown expertise in procurement and accounting, ideally in [e.g., manufacturing, retail, etc.]. • Outstanding organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. • At least one year o accounting experience with a solid grasp of procurement procedures. • Able to start right away. • Preferred whether on a spouse's or individual's own visa.
