Marketing Officers

Overview

We are looking for a marketing officer that is results-oriented and energetic in order to promote our titles and increase revenues. Building and sustaining partnerships with schools, bookshops, libraries, and other important sales channels are part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Establish and preserve connections with libraries, bookshops, schools, and other sales outlets. • Promote our titles and look for new growth prospects to meet and beyond sales goals. • Showcase and pitch new titles to educational institutions, emphasizing their salient features and prospective market. • To guide sales tactics, keep an eye on consumer feedback, rival activity, and market trends. • Create and present performance evaluations, predictions, and sales reports. • To network and promote our titles, go to conferences, book fairs, and industry events. • Give customers outstanding customer service by answering their questions and taking care of problems as soon as they arise. • Keep abreast of forthcoming releases by collaborating directly with the production and editing teams.

Requirements

• A degree in communications, marketing, sales, or a similar discipline. • Shown sales experience, ideally in the book or publishing sector. • Excellent persuading and negotiating abilities with a history of hitting or beyond sales goals. • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to establish and preserve connections. • A love of reading and a solid grasp of the publishing industry. • Self-driven, well-organized, and capable of working both individually and together. • Being prepared to travel as necessary for industry events and client meetings.
