Overview

The Area Sales Manager will be in charge of daily sales operations, team management, strategy development, and hitting sales goals in the poultry sector

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase the market share of farming. • Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, agro-dealers, cooperatives, and distributors to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. • Analyze market trends, monitor competitor activities, and identify opportunities for product expansion and sales growth. • Recruit, train, and manage sales representatives, ensuring they have product knowledge and sales skills to effectively engage customers. • Monitor sales performance, generate reports, and provide insights to optimize sales strategies and achieve targets. • Organize farm visits, product demonstrations, and farmer education programs to showcase the benefits of agricultural products and solutions.

Requirements

• Skills in team management, sales strategy, and sales management • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities • Shown ability to reach and surpass sales goals • Proficiency in the poultry or agriculture industries and the ability to go locally for sales visits • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a similar discipline
