Overview

Tasks pertaining to Fire Protection Engineering, Life Safety, Fire Safety, Safety Engineering, and Fire Suppression Systems will fall within the purview of the Electrical Fire Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Analyze electrical systems to identify potential fire hazards and recommend preventive measures. • Design, install, and maintain fire detection and suppression systems integrated with electrical networks. • Ensure all electrical installations and fire protection systems meet safety codes and industry standards. • Conduct forensic investigations to determine the cause of electrical fires and suggest corrective actions. • Regularly inspect and test fire alarm and suppression systems to ensure proper functionality. • Educate teams on fire safety best practices and emergency response protocols related to electrical systems.

• Skills related to life safety and fire protection engineering • Skills in safety engineering and fire safety • Working knowledge of fire suppression systems • Strong knowledge of fire safety and electrical systems • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities • Awareness of pertinent fire safety industry regulations and requirements • Electrical engineering or a similar discipline at the bachelor's degree level
