Loan Officer

Overview

The chosen applicants will be in charge of reviewing loan applications, keeping up with clients, and making sure that loans are processed quickly and effectively to satisfy our clients' demands.

Responsibilities

• Promote the company's credit offerings with vigour. • Establish and preserve a solid rapport with clients in order to comprehend their financial requirements. • Examine loan applications and determine the creditworthiness of applicants. • Verify financial records and do background checks. • Make recommendations for loan approvals or denials based on predetermined standards. • Make sure loan disbursements are correct and on schedule. • Keep an eye on loan payback plans and pursue past-due accounts. • Give customers advice on the terms, conditions, and repayment schedules of their loans. • Keep thorough and current records of all loan transactions and customer information. • Report on loan distribution and repayment performance on a regular basis.

Requirements

• A minimum of an HND or degree in a relevant discipline, including finance, economics, or business administration. • Strong communication and analytical abilities. • The capacity to fulfil deadlines and perform well under duress. • Although not required, prior experience in a comparable job is advantageous.
