Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Handle payroll, cash flow, and accounts receivable/payable. • To guarantee responsible financial management, supervise the forecasting, financial planning, and budgeting procedures. • To maximize profitability, analyses manufacturing process costs and keep an eye on financial results. • Provide leadership with timely, accurate financial reports on projects, purchase orders (POs), and the general performance of the company. • Offer data-driven insights to enhance operational effectiveness and assist in making strategic decisions. • Verify compliance with donor requirements, including USAID standards, financial policies, certificates, and legislative rules. • In addition to giving frequent updates on grant utilization, oversee, manage, and report on the grant's financial elements, guaranteeing accountability, donor expectations compliance, and the maintenance of correct records for audits and assessments.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar discipline. • Five years or more of financial management experience • It is necessary to get professional certificates like ACCA. Certifications such as CFA are also highly regarded. • Familiarity with sophisticated financial tools and software (such as ERP systems, especially QuickBooks) • A history of overseeing donor-funded projects for USAID or comparable organisations, including financial monitoring, compliance, and reporting. • It is advantageous to have prior experience incorporating gender equity or inclusivity into operational and financial initiatives. • It is beneficial to be familiar with sustainability standards and certifications, such as Fair-for-Life or Organic certifications.
