Project Manager

Overview

The Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) Project Manager will supervise the whole implementation of FTTH projects, guaranteeing on-time delivery, budgetary compliance, and adherence to technical and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and carry out thorough project plans that include deadlines, milestones, and deliverables. • To guarantee that project deadlines are fulfilled, coordinate with the engineering, construction, and operations teams. • Effectively distribute resources while spotting any hazards or bottlenecks. • Work together to synchronize project goals and deliverables with clients, external contractors, and internal teams. • Serve as your clients' primary point of contact, handling expectations and giving updates. • Oversee network design, feasibility studies, and site surveys. • Verify compliance with FTTH regulations, standards, and specifications. • During the deployment phase, troubleshoot and fix technical issues. • Create and oversee project budgets, including tracking, reporting, and cost projections. • Manage subcontractor invoices and keep an eye on spending to maintain financial management. • To make sure that established standards are being followed, keep an eye on the project's quality and do routine inspections. • Create progress reports that include risk assessments and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, telecommunications, or a similar discipline. • Five or more years of expertise overseeing telecom rollout projects, such as FTTH. • Strong knowledge of FTTx and GPON technologies as well as FTTH network design. • Shown proficiency with project management software, such as Primavera or MS Project. • Strong familiarity with telecommunications and construction-related health and safety regulations. • Strong communication and leadership abilities. • Outstanding decision-making and problem-solving skills. • Financial knowledge and budgeting expertise. • The capacity to fulfil deadlines and work under duress.
