• Design and evaluate structural elements for building projects while making sure that safety, legal, and quality requirements are met. • Create thorough structural calculations, drawings, and designs while making sure they adhere to local codes and project standards. • To guarantee that structural designs blend in perfectly with other building systems, work together with architects, builders, and other engineers. • Monitor construction progress by conducting site visits and inspections to make that the work adheres to approved structural plans. • Conduct risk analysis and structural evaluations to find any safety concerns or design faults. • Make suggestions about the choice of materials, structural stability, and load-bearing capability. • In charge of creating structural reports and documentation, such as design drawings, specifications, and computations. • Work together with project teams to guarantee that the structural elements are finished on schedule and within the allocated budget. • During the building phase, take care of any structural issues or difficulties that come up. • To guarantee that design ideas are implemented effectively and to address any problems that may come up, keep an eye on construction activities. • Verify that every task conforms with all applicable laws, rules, and health and safety regulations.
• A bachelor's degree in structural engineering, civil engineering, or a similar discipline.An advantage is having a master's degree in structural engineering or the appropriate certifications. • Three to five years of structural engineering expertise, ideally in the building sector. • Expertise in planning, evaluating, and managing the building of commercial, industrial, or residential constructions. • Knowledge of structural design tools, such as SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit, and STAAD Pro. • Strong familiarity with structural standards, construction rules, and legal requirements. • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to create original solutions. • Strong knowledge of building techniques and materials science. • Meticulous with an emphasis on safety and quality. • Proficiency in communication and the capacity to operate in a cooperative settingstrong time-management and organising skills.
