Senior UI / UX Designer & Developer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled UI/UX designer that can use clear, effective coding to make concepts come to life. Working at the nexus of design and development, you will create seamless experiences from conception to execution as our newest team member.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the whole design process, from wireframing and user research to high-fidelity prototypes. • Use Figma to create and manage our design system. • Convert designs into frontend code that is accessible and responsive. • Work together with stakeholders and product managers to comprehend user demands. • Lead younger team members in design best practices by doing user testing and iterating in response to feedback.

Requirements

• 4+ years of frontend programming and UI/UX design expertise • Proficiency in design and prototyping with Figma at an expert level • Excellent portfolio showcasing the user-centred design methodology • Advanced HTML5, CSS3 (including animations, Grid, and Flexbox) • Knowledgeable about jQuery and contemporary JavaScript • Familiarity with either React.js or Vue.js • Knowledge of the WCAG accessibility requirements • Outstanding graphic design abilities with a solid understanding of colour theory and typography
