The site engineer will be in charge of overseeing construction crews, offering technical direction, and making sure that projects are finished on schedule, under budget, and in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements. The ideal applicant will have a thorough awareness of building procedures, good problem-solving skills, and outstanding communication talents.
• To guarantee that construction operations are carried out effectively and in accordance with project specifications, give subcontractors and site team’s technical assistance and direction. • Manage and oversee employees on-site to guarantee efficient resource utilization and collaboration. • Track the status of the work packages completed by subcontractors to make sure they are finished on time and in accordance with project timelines. • Verify that building activities adhere to industry standards, safety laws, and legal directives. • To make sure that design specifications and project requirements are being followed, conduct routine on-site inspections and quality checks. • Create and oversee project budgets to keep costs under control and avoid overspending. • Examine and decipher engineering plans, drawings, and specifications to provide site personnel precise directions. • Any technical difficulties or problems that come up during building should be addressed and resolved. • Keep thorough and current records of all site operations, including daily summaries, material consumption reports, and progress reports. • To plan project milestones and handle any delays or risks, work together with the project manager and other stakeholders. • Establish a culture of safety awareness among employees and subcontractors and put health and safety regulations into practice on the job site.
• A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a similar discipline • A recognized engineering body membership or professional qualification is advantageous. • Three to five years of experience in a comparable position, ideally in the construction sector • Shown ability to effectively manage construction projects. -strong knowledge of best practices, building techniques, and engineering concepts. • Ability to use design and project management tools, such as MS Project, AutoCAD, and Revit. • Outstanding leadership, communication, and organizing abilities. • The capacity to decipher intricate designs and give precise directions. -strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
