An Inventory Controller is responsible for efficiently managing a company’s inventory to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize costs, and meet customer demand. This role involves monitoring stock movements, maintaining accurate inventory records, and implementing effective inventory management strategies.
• Oversees physical goods, the ERP system's general inventory, and everything related to the site. • Organizing all stock movements and needs • Keep stock levels constant. • Stock is technically identified and assigned to warehouse bin locations, among other things. • Surveys, stock takes, and remedial measures to address inconsistencies • Oversees DIFOT, lead times, and other inventory KPIs. • manages logistics • Manages all incoming and outgoing cargo. • generates the required reports • Regularly communicates on all issues pertaining to stocks
• Appropriate training in inventory management, warehousing, and logistics. • Inventory control experience of at least one to two years. • Expertise in creating metric reports. • Knowledgeable about corporate ERP procedures. Aurora, Dynamics, favoured • Understanding and expertise in inventory financial control. • Understanding of the supplier chain and production lead times. • Familiarity with procurement procedures. • Knowledgeable about corporate ERP procedures. • It would be advantageous to have technical understanding of electrical and/or mechanical equipment.
