Quarry Manager

Overview

Daily supervision duties pertaining to aggregates, cement, quarrying, and crushing will fall under the purview of the quarry manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, including drilling, blasting, and material extraction, to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. • Enforce safety regulations and implement measures to create a safe working environment for all employees and contractors. • Manage the maintenance and efficient use of machinery, equipment, and raw materials to optimize productivity and reduce costs. • Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure operations stay within financial targets. • Ensure all activities comply with environmental regulations and implement sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact. • Supervise staff, provide training, and foster a motivated and skilled workforce to achieve operational goals.

Requirements

• Capabilities of Supervisors • Proficiency in Quarrying and Crushing Understanding of Cement and Aggregates • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities • A bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, or a similar discipline with prior mining or construction sector experience
