Overview

To supervise the implementation of operational procedures and financial management systems that are both successful and efficient in order to attain growth.

Responsibilities

• Compile financial reporting materials for all donor segments, transmit monthly and annual financial statements, analyses and present financial reports accurately and promptly, and manage all project, grants, and financial accounting. • Oversee the forecasting and cash flow of the organization. • Keep track of and manage program budgets using tools that incorporate contractual and financial data. • As needed, present assessments to the Board, contributors, and the Executive Director. To guarantee effective and sound project management, do regular financial analyses on program expenses, recording and tracking overall performance, examining trends, and identifying gaps. • Supervise the budgetary preparation of any proposals. • Make sure there are robust internal control mechanisms in place. • Oversee the personnel in finance, procurement, and the warehouse. • From the beginning to the end of the payment and documentation process, make sure that the proper division of labor is maintained in all procurement and payment activities. • Supervise the acquisition of products and services in compliance with company regulations. • Keep an eye on warehouse operations and make sure they adhere to good distribution practices. • Putting in place and maintaining warehouse management systems to increase productivity and maximize available space. • Examine and approve purchase orders to make sure the right procurement procedures have been followed in accordance with company rules.

Requirements

• Professionals who are fully certified by ACCA or ICA. • A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. • Ten (10) years or more of experience in a senior management position in accounting or finance. • Strong understanding of accounting principles, corporate finance, and financial analysis is known as financial acumen. • Leadership and Management: Outstanding leadership abilities to oversee teams in procurement, finance, and warehousing operations. • Effective communication skills are essential for both representing TFHO to the public and interacting with other staff members. Have excellent conflict resolution and negotiating abilities. • The capacity to create and carry out financial systems, plans, and policies is known as policy design and execution.
