Overview

A Tax Management Supervisor oversees the tax compliance, planning, and reporting activities of an organization to ensure adherence to local, national, and international tax regulations. They manage the preparation of tax filings, guide tax audits, and develop strategies to optimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• To guarantee that bank statements and corporate records are accurate, perform monthly bank reconciliations. • Maintain accurate cash balances by looking into and quickly resolving problems. • Make sure that all reconciled accounts are properly documented and kept on file. • Create and submit correct cash flow, balance sheet, and income statement financial reports each month. • Give management financial performance insights and variance analysis. Assist the finance team in creating dashboards and management reports. • Make sure that all statutory returns—such as those for payroll taxes, corporate income tax, VAT, and social security contributions—are filed on time and accurately. • Keep an eye on adherence to regional tax laws and communicate with tax authorities as needed. • Create and turn in tax reports and schedules for statutory reviews and audits. • Provide the required paperwork and assistance to support internal and external audits. • To guarantee efficient financial operations, cooperate with other departments. • Assist the finance manager in creating and putting into effect financial policies and controls. • Take part in efforts to improve processes in order to increase the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline. An additional benefit is professional qualification, such as ACCA, CA, or CPA. • Three to five years' minimum experience in financial management, including financial analysis, statutory reporting, and bank reconciliation. • Knowledge of statutory filing requirements and tax legislation. • It is desirable if you have prior supervising experience. • Strong familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting applications. • Outstanding organisational and attention to detail abilities. • Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to function well under duress. • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
