Overview

Finding new business prospects, forming strategic alliances, and creating distribution networks that increase revenue and market share will be the main responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities

• Find and assess new business prospects in Africa, such as joint ventures, distribution channels, and strategic alliances, that fit the company's expansion plan. • Create and implement a thorough business growth plan that expands the company's market reach and diversifies its sources of income. • Oversee market research projects to gain an understanding of consumer demands, market trends, and rivalry. Use the results to inform strategic objectives and decision-making. • By forming new alliances and growing current ones, the corporation can establish itself as a market leader. • Develop and preserve enduring connections with important distributors, partners, clients, and stakeholders throughout Africa. • Contracts for partnerships should be negotiated, draughted, and overseen to guarantee favourable results and alignment with Kofa's strategic objectives. • To improve product offerings and develop new value propositions, find and work with outside partners, suppliers, and service providers. • In order to build new connections and broaden the network of partnerships, represent the company at important industry gatherings, conferences, and forums. • Create and oversee a strong distribution network to guarantee effective market expansion and penetration in several African markets. • Collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, sales, and logistics) to optimise distribution procedures and put into practice successful go-to-market strategies. • Find, train, and assist important distributors throughout Africa, making sure they have the resources and skills they need to be successful and uphold the integrity of the brand. • Keep an eye on channel performance and make sure distribution agreements are carried out successfully.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a similar discipline is required; an advanced degree or MBA is desirable. • 8–10 years of experience in sales, relationship management, or business development, with at least 5 of those years spent in a leadership position. • demonstrated ability to expand a firm through channel development and strategic alliances, ideally in an African setting. • It is quite advantageous to have experience in the energy, mobility, or related fields. • strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiating abilities. • a strategic thinker who excels in spotting, assessing, and seizing economic possibilities in a variety of marketplaces. • Outstanding team management and leadership abilities, with background in fast-paced, cross-functional teamwork.
