Overview

The position will generally be in charge of · Monitoring of investments and portfolios · Cash Flow and Investment Management · Budgeting, Capital Planning, and Disbursement · Reporting on Finances · Internal Controls and Risk Management

Responsibilities

• Verify the observance of investment-related activities and protocols. • Give the Investment Committee ("IC") sufficient information. • Simplify investment vehicle onboarding and approval processes. • Together with the investment team, make sure that the performance of the investments is tracked on time, evaluate the risks, and suggest changes as necessary. • Work together with internal groups and outside partners to draft capital disbursement contracts and make sure that rules are followed. • Create and oversee financial plans, guidelines, and practices that support the goals and mission of the company. • Create timely and accurate financial reports, such as cash flow, balance sheet, and income statement reports. • Create yearly financial planning, forecasts, and budgets. • Oversee all administrative tasks as well as banking and financial activities. • Verify adherence to the organization's rules, risk appetite, and moral principles. • Assure adherence to investor reporting obligations, accounting standards, and financial rules. • Create and put into action liquidity management plans to maximise profits. • Keep an eye on cash flow, predict your demands for liquidity, and make sure you have enough money for program operations and capital investments. • To guarantee prompt and error-free financial audits and reviews, oversee the work and reports of external auditors.

Requirements

• At least seven (7) years of demonstrated experience in the financial and investment management sector, particularly in the private equity/venture fund, fund management, or fund of funds industry, is required. • Strong understanding of investing principles, budgeting, and financial analysis. • Knowledge of financial laws and regulatory standards unique to the fund of funds, venture capital, and private equity industries, especially those pertaining to non-listed investment appraisal techniques and concepts. • Competence with financial systems and software, including fund management platforms and accounting tools. • Outstanding analytical abilities and meticulousness. • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to work with a variety of stakeholders. • The capacity to manage several goals and deadlines while working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. • Dedication to the goals and principles of the impact investing industry.
