Full Stack Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack experienced Backend Developer to join our creative team in the iGaming and lottery sectors. Strong backend programming talents using PHP, Java, and Node.js are required for this position, along with full stack expertise, including React.js. The ideal applicant should also be skilled in creating safe, scalable, and effective systems and be knowledgeable in contemporary tools like Spring Boot, Laravel, Docker, Postgres, MySQL, Kafka, and Redis.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and manage backend services with Java (Spring Boot) and PHP (Laravel). • Assure scalability, responsiveness, and excellent performance. • Create user-friendly interfaces by working together on frontend development with React.js. • Create and manage RESTful APIs to ensure smooth front-end and back-end system interactions. • Create and integrate reliable and effective USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) applications for mobile networks. • Collaborate on distributed messaging and streaming systems using Kafka. • Use Redis for performance optimisation and caching. • Database Management: Use Postgres and MySQL to manage and optimise databases while guaranteeing their scalability and effectiveness. • For containerisation and application deployment in scaled settings, use Docker. • Create, implement, and maintain clear, reusable, and effective code by using OOP principles.

Requirements

• Backend development experience of at least five years, with an emphasis on PHP, Node.js, and Java. • demonstrated expertise with React.js and full stack development. • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) proficiency. • strong familiarity with Redis, Kafka, Postgres, and Docker. • proficiency with third-party connectors and RESTful APIs. • familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git. • knowledge of containerised deployments and Linux environments. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an emphasis on providing creative and effective solutions. • knowledge of the iGaming and lottery sectors, including legal and regulatory requirements.
