The procurement department will receive assistance from the assistant procurement officer in locating, acquiring, and overseeing goods and services. In order to satisfy operational needs, this position is in charge of making sure that organisational policies are followed, procurements are completed on time, and sourcing is done at a reasonable cost.
• Helping to create precise local purchase orders • Capacity to uphold precise procurement records and documentation while guaranteeing strict adherence to regulations • Capacity to operate under pressure and multitask • Keep an eye on stock levels and arrange reorders to assist inventory management. • Helping with the audit and report preparation • Capacity to keep precise records on the accounts of debtors and suppliers • Helping to carry out market research in order to find new vendors and industry trends • The capacity to find and assess suppliers according to their quality, costs, and delivery schedules. • Capacity to handle and settle delivery-related, inconsistency-related, or quality-related complaints.
• HND in Supply Chain Management and Procurement • Finished the national service • Supply chain management and procurement experience of at least two to three years (internship experience may be accepted). • Strong communication and negotiating abilities. • Outstanding time-management and organising skills. • Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite • Analytical thought and meticulousness
