Senior Backend Engineer

Overview

You will be a significant player in the development and optimisation of backend systems as a backend developer, mostly using the Struts 2 framework and Java J2EE. Using XL Release (XLR) and XL Deploy (XLD), you will also guarantee seamless deployment procedures, enhancing the general effectiveness and dependability of our platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and manage backend services with the Struts 2 framework and Java J2EE. • Use DevOps techniques to guarantee our applications' high availability, scalability, and performance. • Use XL Release (XLR) and XL Deploy (XLD) to manage deployment pipelines and procedures. • To comprehend needs and convert them into solid technical solutions, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. • Code should be debugged, troubleshooted, and optimised for scalability and performance. • To ensure effective teamwork and clear communication, document systems and procedures. • Keep abreast of market developments and incorporate emerging technology to enhance our infrastructure.

Requirements

• Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline. • 5+ years of Java J2EE backend development expertise. • Strong familiarity with the framework of Struts 2. • Practical knowledge of DevOps techniques and technologies. • Ability to effectively manage deployments using XL Deploy (XLD) and XL Release (XLR).
