Overview

In order to meet goals for market share and revenue growth in the agrochemical industry, the sales manager for agrochemicals will be in charge of creating and implementing sales strategies. In order to increase crop output and productivity, this position entails leading a vibrant sales team, cultivating enduring connections with distributors, dealers, and end users, and offering knowledgeable counsel on agrochemical products.

Responsibilities

• Create and put into action sales strategies to meet company objectives and sales targets in the agrochemical industry. • Determine consumer demands, market trends, and possibilities to propel company expansion. • Hire, develop, and manage a top-performing sales force. • Team members should get continual coaching, performance reviews, and professional development. • Build and preserve connections with dealers, distributors, and large-scale farming operations. • To find possible new clients and areas for growth, do market research. • Provide farmers and distributors with training sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations. • Offer professional guidance and technical assistance about the use of agrochemical goods. • Monitor and evaluate sales performance indicators while creating thorough reports for upper management. • Adapt sales tactics to rival activity and market conditions.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, agronomy, agriculture, or a similar discipline. An advantage is having a master's degree. • At least five to seven years of sales experience in the field of agricultural inputs or agrochemicals. • Shown ability to meet or surpass sales goals. • Strong knowledge of the agricultural value chain, agrochemical products, and their uses. • Knowledge about local crops and farming methods. • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities. • Strong problem-solving and negotiating skills. • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and CRM applications.
