Overview

To create and guarantee the methodical implementation of safety and security management policies and procedures across the company's operating domains. This will involve continuously evaluating risks, offering guidance, and implementing risk-reduction strategies; maintaining and revising security policies; and making sure that security procedures are strong enough to deter theft, vandalism, and other types of criminal activity.

Responsibilities

• Make sure that every activity and place is evaluated and tracked in relation to how it affects security and safety, and suggest certain procedures and methods to get rid of or lessen risk and vulnerability. • Keep an eye on the local and national security and safety environments at all times, and advise management to modify security policies and procedures as necessary. • Make sure that evacuation, relocation, and medical evacuation plans are prepared, shared, and embraced by the appropriate personnel. • Make sure that all vehicles, buildings, and equipment adhere to security and safety regulations, and periodically reevaluate their compliance. • To create a formal weekly security update, district offices and a range of local and international media sources are consulted for security-related information. • In the context of security, keep an eye on departmental working habits and notify management of any questionable acts or choices that may be affecting the organization's safety and security or how the outside world views it. • Make sure staff members complete incident report forms correctly and submit them for the necessary corrective action. • Keep a close eye on video feeds from various locations to identify any crimes or security breaches. • Oversee the installation of security devices including alarms and surveillance cameras in coordination with the IT staff. • creates and implements security guidelines and protocols. • Organise the analysis, suggestions, and follow-up activities after the occurrence. • Make sure there are mechanisms in place to react quickly to a crisis management scenario. • Make certain that papers pertaining to security are kept in a centralised filing system. • Perform regular danger assessments and create reports on security evaluations of directors' homes, field locations and offices (both head office and outstation). Increase the security company's employees' ability to perform this kind of threat assessment. • Increase staff members' personal safety and security capabilities. Create a training and induction program for both new and existing employees. • Ensure that policy and standards are understood, accepted, and implemented throughout the organisation by creating a standardised security training technique and offering security-related training to all employees. • Organise and communicate security-related issues with all pertinent parties, including outside security firms.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in information technology, criminology, security management, or a similar discipline • A minimum of five to seven years of relevant work experience in a comparable position
