The ideal candidate for the position of mechanical technician would have engineering and operational expertise in packaging. In order to reliably and economically fulfil the rising demands for volume and quality, he is in charge of maintaining the equipment and machinery used during his shift for packing operations.

Follow site safety regulations and equipment and system operating procedures to the letter. • Will be dedicated to creating high-quality, safe goods by adhering to the guidelines set out by the Food Safety and Quality Management System. • Operate and clean, perform scheduled maintenance, respond to breakdowns, continuously evaluate and supervise plant performance, and promptly handle all other process responsibilities in order to provide a full production service on the plant and equipment to which they are primarily assigned. • By following Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules, you may maximise plant availability and operational efficiency and provide the best possible plant operation. • Maximise product quality by providing RFT on quality and control parameters while maintaining constant observation and attention to detail. To maintain process momentum, promptly address non-conformances. Apply, document, and disseminate lessons learnt to avoid recurrence. • Handle the supplies, parts, and spares needed for their machinery and plants; this involves taking inventory from "bins" that are supplied locally and taking responsibility for the stock that is taken out. • Exhibit adaptability in your availability, demeanour, and methods of operation. You should also help colleagues with equipment maintenance and failures. • Engage in competency-based training programs and actively seek out personal and team training and development. Encourage the growth of other team members and cultivate a good rapport with coworkers, particularly contractors.
• HND in a relevant engineering field with demonstrated expertise in operations, maintenance, process control, and performance measurement in a brewery or setting that produces food or beverages. • Exhibit a thorough comprehension of the GGBL SHE rules, statutory requirements, and obligations as well as the Permit to Work system. • Show that you grasp the concepts of problem-solving, preventative maintenance, continuous improvement, and cooperation.
