Enumerators

Overview

We are looking for experienced enumerators to carry out face-to-face surveys with household members. The position may require working from home or a central location in the Northern and Savannah Regions. Preference will be given to residents of Savelugu, Kumbungu, Nanton, Karaga, Central Gonja, and East Gonja who speak the following languages: Likpakpan, Dagbani, or Gonja.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys within assigned communities. • Reside in the designated districts or field stations for the duration of the survey, if required. • Follow all IPA survey protocols and data collection guidelines. • Comply with COVID-19 safety measures as set by the Ghana Health Service. • Respond promptly to communications from the Research Associate, Field Manager, Senior Research Quality Associate, or other IPA staff. • Perform additional tasks related to the project as assigned.

Requirements

• A diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution with experience in field or data collection. • Familiarity with Computer Assisted Interviewing (CAI), or willingness to learn. • Experience with SurveyCTO for conducting interviews is an advantage. • Fluency in English. • Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Likpakpan, Dagbani, Gonja, with the ability to translate surveys. • Willingness to travel and work in remote areas.
