Overview

The Channel Partner Manager oversees continual engagement with Channel Partner Leaders and their teams. This role involves conducting collaborative visits across West / Central Africa (English-speaking region) and actively participating in various sales activities, trade seminars, exhibitions, and product demonstrations. This position is remotely based in Ghana or Nigeria.

Responsibilities

- Oversee and enhance Channel Partner (CP) strategies and day-to-day activities.

- Manage distribution agreements, ensure compliance, and monitor credit control.

- Consolidate CPs’ periodic reports, set annual targets, and maintain scorecards and RACI responsibilities.

- Forecast and manage sales pipelines, and support marketing initiatives.

- Collaborate with other departments to streamline CP-related tasks.

- Establish and refine CP-related processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Utilize CRM systems for managing customer interactions, activities, and project management.

- Implement training and development plans for CPs.

- Evaluate and recruit new partners while discontinuing underperforming CPs.

- Coordinate with the Service team to enhance CPs’ service capabilities and project implementation.

- Evaluate and establish partnerships with new types of channels, such as second-tier channels, engineering companies, system integrators, etc.

Requirements

- Ready to undertake regional travel up to 75% of the time.

- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, or relevant field experience.

- Minimum of 5 years of channel management experience in a multinational B2B business.

- At least 3 years of experience in sales within the water industry.
