You will be in charge of planning, putting into place, and overseeing the organization's network infrastructure as a network engineer, making sure that it is secure and functional. In order to maximize network performance, you will also engage with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot network issues.
• Designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance • Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls • Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting connectivity issues • Ensuring network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and other protective measures • Performing regular network upgrades and maintenance to keep systems up-to-date • Collaborating with IT teams to support system integration and resolve network-related issues • Documenting network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines
• Knowledge of network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points; familiarity with network technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, and VPN • Understanding of the tools and protocols used for network monitoring • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to function well under pressure Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills • A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar discipline is preferred, as are certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or their equivalents.
