The Field Manager will collaborate closely with the Research Associate to ensure the smooth and effective execution of all field-based data collection activities.
• Recruit, train, and supervise field teams during surveys. • Develop training materials for all data collection activities. • Manage finances and monitor field-related expenditures. • Assist in data reconciliation and management processes. • Work with the Research Associate to pilot and develop data collection instruments. • Oversee and track survey and intervention equipment used in the field. • Assess the performance of field staff during recruitment, training, and data collection phases. • Ensure strict adherence to all IPA survey protocols and ensure field teams comply as well. • Report any issues or concerns promptly to the Research Associate. • Respond quickly to communications from the Research Associate or other IPA staff. • Maintain positive relations with IPA, its staff, partner organizations, and project participants. • Perform additional work-related tasks as assigned.
• A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field. • Experience in project management, including supervising, designing, and implementing data collection activities, as well as managing large teams of enumerators/surveyors. • Familiarity with field research methods, particularly RCT and other data collection techniques, is highly advantageous. • Proficiency in English, Dagbani, and other local languages spoken at the survey sites. • Strong management, communication, and organizational abilities. • Experience working with international NGOs is a plus.
