Overview

Seeking a General Services Coordinator to oversee the precise inventory of all corporate assets and the planned, routine maintenance of the company's premises to guarantee their effective operation.

Responsibilities

• To guarantee the effective operation of the business's facilities by means of planned, frequent maintenance as well as a precise inventory of all firm assets. • To create, suggest, and carry out a thorough program for maintenance and installation tasks for the company's warehouse, offices, expat residences, vehicles, and other assets in cooperation with outside contractors, if necessary. • Preserve health and safety by inspecting all company locations for hazardous situations and removing any potential risks. • For services falling under the functional scope (e.g., stationery, staff lunches, cleaning services, fumigation, toiletries, vehicle servicing, energy, water, etc.), initiate a suitable and timely procurement request in complete accordance with the procurement policy. • Make that all third-party vendor invoices for products and services are thoroughly examined before being approved for payment. • To prevent shortages, keep an eye on and make sure that supplies for office stationery, office drinking water, cleaning materials, etc. are restocked at the right times. • Create and provide reports and feedback for the department's budget planning operations, such as the operating expenses for installation, maintenance, and servicing.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building & Construction, and Real Estate Property Management. • Five years or more of operational experience managing fleets and facilities • Operational experience in procurement and finance. • Working experience in a networked, cross-functional company (internal and external providers) • Expertise in contract reviews and project financial appraisal. • Robust and successful stakeholder management across cultural boundaries. • Strong communication and negotiating abilities Previous experience managing a fleet or facilities • Communication ease, particularly when it comes to writing (emails, handouts, presentations)
