Overview

Using a thorough understanding of IT products and services, the IT sales executive is in charge of pitching online and application solutions to companies and organisations. In order to reach and surpass sales goals and guarantee client satisfaction, this position blends technical expertise with outstanding communication and negotiating abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and carry out sales strategies to focus on important market niches. • Find, screen, and interact with potential customers through lead creation, networking, and referrals. • Oversee the whole sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, including draughting proposals and negotiating contracts. • Create and preserve enduring, solid client connections. • Recognise the demands of your clients and offer specialised software to solve their problems. • Act as your clients' main contact both during and after the sales process. • Learn everything there is to know about the company's software products, including their features, advantages, and technical specifications. • Provide clients with engaging technical presentations and product demonstrations. • Work together with the technical team to make sure the solutions satisfy the needs of the client. • Keep up with new developments in technology, market trends, and rival goods. • To find new prospects and improve sales tactics, use market insights. • Using CRM technologies, keep thorough records of all sales activities, client interactions, and transaction progress. • Create performance evaluations, reports, and sales projections for management's consideration.

Requirements

• At least one to two years of software sales or IT expertise. • Diploma or a similar discipline. • Knowledge of IT products like ERP and CRM. • Competence with the Microsoft Office Suite and CRM programs (such as Salesforce and HubSpot). • A basic awareness of the procedures involved in software development or deployment is preferred. • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities. • The capacity to communicate technical ideas in an understandable way to customers. • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
