Folk Lift Operator

Overview

To expand our workforce, we are looking for a competent and experienced forklift operator. The chosen applicant will be in charge of using a forklift to transport, find, relocate, stack, and count goods. Additionally, the forklift operator will be in charge of making sure the machine runs safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Move goods within the production area or warehouse by using a forklift. • Load and unload goods from pallets, trailers, and containers. • Organise and store goods in a safe and effective way. • Make sure that the item is accurately counted and recorded. • Check the forklift's safety every day and notify the supervisor of any problems. • Keep your workspace neat and orderly. • Respect all safety rules and directives. • Work together with other team members to accomplish warehousing and production objectives.

Requirements

• WASSCE or its equivalent is necessary. • A current forklift operator's licence is necessary. • A minimum of one to two years' experience using a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. • Outstanding teamwork and communication abilities. • The capacity to fulfil deadlines and operate in a fast-paced setting.
