SQL Developer

Overview

For the purpose of designing and implementing ETL procedures to incorporate customer data into our products, we are presently looking for a SQL developer. We are seeking a data enthusiast who takes pleasure in examining and analysing new data sets and deciphering the narratives they convey. Using your SQL knowledge to feed data into our systems from a variety of sources will be your primary duty.

Responsibilities

• Create, create, and implement ETL procedures to load data into databases, extract data from various sources, and transform it in accordance with business needs. • Work together with project managers to establish the procedures and comprehend the data requirements. • Carry out data migrations and assessments for the clients you have been assigned. • Create intricate stored procedures, scripts, and SQL queries to modify and clean data during the ETL process in accordance with the client's requirements. • Ensure effective data extraction, transformation, and loading by optimising ETL procedures for performance, scalability, and dependability. • ETL procedures should be thoroughly tested and validated to guarantee data integrity, accuracy, and completeness. • Investigate and promptly fix problems with performance, data quality, and ETL difficulties. • To promote knowledge sharing and guarantee maintainability, document technical specifications, data mappings, and ETL procedures.

Requirements

• Strong background in database and ETL technologies • Extensive knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL Server Management Studio superior understanding of SQL (user-defined functions, stored procedures, etc.) as well as a thorough comprehension of database architecture • Knowledge of an IDE and a version control system, ideally Git, Azure DevOps, or Visual Studio • Familiarity with several SQL/NoSQL data storage systems • Programming and scripting skills, such as SQL, shell scripting, or Python, are nice to have. • You should also be able to operate in a fast-paced atmosphere, adjust to a product that is evolving quickly, and strategically respond to client needs.
