The incumbent will be in charge of steering the nation's procurement organisation through a challenging transition. The procurement manager ensures adherence to policies, strategies, and procedures while driving procurement's value contribution and providing the business unit with exceptional service.
• Together with company Group Office Procurement and business short-, medium-, and long-term goals and strategies, develop and oversee the procurement vision, strategic targets, and "Ways of Working." • Assist the firm in achieving its goals and ambitions. • Develop category plans for company categories in accordance with the needs of internal stakeholders by collaborating with the procurement teams of the company Group Office. • Oversee and grow the domestic procurement organisation and promote ongoing enhancements to operational procurement. • To support the organization's overarching leadership focus on performance and talent management, values, management, and self-management practices, lead team members in line with the company Procurement management principles. • Oversee direct reports, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and training and career advancement. • Encourage strategic sourcing efforts for the nation's allotted professional business services, marketing and sales, and supply chain maintenance and repair. • Create and oversee a collaboration with important strategic suppliers to investigate further value generation for company and the relevant nation. • Keep your contract repository up to date in accordance with the company Procurement Policy. • To guarantee local acceptance of new contracts, serve as a liaison between the company Group Office Procurement Team, in-country internal stakeholders, and procurement specialists. • Organise the distribution of resources to assist national company Procurement programs. • Lead the implementation of new company Procurement initiatives and act as a change agent. • conveys strategic objectives and goals for cost reduction. • Make sure category plans reflect and take into account BU demands. • responsible for Service Level Agreements between the business's internal stakeholders and country procurement. • Monitor the nation's Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and share them with the relevant parties. • Create and oversee the procurement budget, keeping an eye on its financial health through cost-effectiveness analysis. • Encourage operational procurement transactions to become more efficient.
• A bachelor's degree or national diploma in supply chain management or a similar discipline. • 5+ years of operational procurement leadership expertise, particularly in people management, and 3+ years of strategic sourcing experience in a range of procurement roles. • Familiarity with the majority of contemporary contract types and a solid grasp of the legal ramifications of procurement.
