Overview

The duties of the event coordinator will include organising and arranging events, interacting with customers and guests, delivering outstanding customer service, smoothly running events, and increasing sales.

Responsibilities

• Developing event concepts, timelines, and schedules. • Coordinating budgets, venue selection, and vendor contracts. • Communicating with caterers, decorators, entertainers, and other suppliers. • Ensuring all services are delivered as agreed. • Managing guest lists, RSVPs, and seating arrangements. • Ensuring attendees’ needs and expectations are met. • Supervising event setup and ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day. • Addressing last-minute changes or issues during the event. • Overseeing cleanup and teardown. • Collecting feedback and preparing post-event reports.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Event Management and Planning • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities • Experience in sales • Capacity to multitask and perform well under pressure • Organisational and detail-oriented abilities • The capacity for creativity and problem-solving • It is advantageous to have prior experience in the entertainment or hospitality sectors. • A bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality, event management, or a similar discipline
