Audit Officer

Overview

An audit officer is needed for urgent employment by a reputable financial firm.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head of internal audit in helping management enhance the company's governance, operations, and risk management procedures as well as the control environment. • Participate actively in the creation and upkeep of a risk-based audit plan and audit universe, as well as the creation of engagement plans that specify the goals, risks, and tests of internal audit assignments. • Contribute to the development of a control environment that will identify and prevent fraud. • Creating work papers that precisely record the proof of the audit work completed and the conclusions reached. • Taking part in fieldwork when necessary to guarantee the calibre of staff work and protocols. • Confirming earlier results to make that remedial measures have been implemented.

Requirements

• Accounting or commerce bachelor's degree from an accredited university OR ACCA II, CA II, or ACIB II • Three years or more of experience working as a T24-proficient audit officer • Computer literacy is required.
