CCTV Operator

Overview

A CCTV Operator in the hospitality industry plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and property. This position involves monitoring and operating closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems to prevent security breaches, detect suspicious activities, and respond promptly to incidents.

Responsibilities

• In charge of protecting the general public, preserving property, and guaranteeing data security in the hotel and its surroundings. • Additionally, you are in charge of keeping an eye on the hotel's live CCTV footage of all regions, including the public areas, guest floors, and entrances and exits. • Additionally, you recognise and address crises, safety risks, suspicious activity, and security branches. • Keep track of every occurrence and observation, including the date, time, place, and a description of what happened. You should also record and store any video that is captured. • You make sure the CCTV system is operating properly by reporting any malfunctions and resolving any technical problems.
