Electrical Engineer

Overview

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. They analyze and troubleshoot electrical systems, ensuring they meet safety, efficiency, and regulatory standards. This role involves planning and overseeing the installation of electrical components, as well as performing tests to ensure system functionality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• The facilities' design, development, installation, and upkeep, including the electrical systems • Overseeing the day-to-day activities of facility maintenance • Take charge of the facility maintenance team's technical direction. • Diagnose and troubleshoot complicated electrical issues in the building. • Execute testing and maintenance procedures for every installation. • When purchasing new equipment and installations, give management advice. • Put in place stringent work management procedures to increase productivity. • Put in place robust procedures for evaluating performance to increase productivity. • Manage the inventory of all maintenance supplies. • A liaison for efficient communication between maintenance and operations • For all maintenance tasks, onsite maintenance software is used. • Accurately recording maintenance tasks • Using analytical techniques to optimise maintenance • Research and development of efficient maintenance procedures • Oversee outside contractors • Maintenance technician education and training • Respect for food safety regulations • Respect for health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Electrical engineering degree is a minimum requirement. • Capacity to operate both electric and manual tools • Strong communication abilities • strong familiarity with safety, health, and quality norms • Excellent presentation and communication abilities Excellent familiarity with Microsoft Office • Outstanding time-management and organising abilities • A cooperative individual with leadership skills
