Overview

The Accountant is responsible for managing the company's financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This role includes analyzing financial data, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting audits to maintain the company’s financial health and integrity.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: • Prepare accurate financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Bookkeeping: • Maintain general ledger accounts. • Record and reconcile financial transactions. Budgeting and Forecasting: • Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts. • Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions. Tax Preparation and Compliance: • Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. • Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time. Auditing: • Support both internal and external audit processes. • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data during audits. Accounts Payable/Receivable Management: • Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently. • Monitor overdue accounts and follow up on collections. Policy Implementation: • Implement and enforce accounting policies and procedures. • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and laws. Administrative Duties: Office Management: • Oversee office supplies inventory and manage procurement processes. • Handle vendor and service provider relationships. Documentation and Record-Keeping: • Maintain organized, up-to-date files for both financial and administrative records. Scheduling and Coordination: • Manage schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements for the management team. • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Human Resources Support: • Assist with onboarding new employees and managing personnel records. • Ensure compliance with workplace policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proven experience in accounting and administrative roles. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
