Loan Officer

Overview

We are seeking dedicated and results-driven individuals to join our team as Loan Officers. The successful candidates will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, managing customer relationships, and ensuring efficient loan processing to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

Client Engagement: • Actively promote the loan products and services. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs. Loan Assessment and Processing: • Evaluate loan applications and assess applicants’ creditworthiness. • Conduct background checks and verify financial documentation. • Recommend loan approvals or rejections based on established criteria. Loan Management: • Ensure timely and accurate loan disbursements. • Monitor loan repayment schedules and follow up on overdue accounts. • Provide guidance to clients on loan terms, conditions, and repayment procedures. Record Keeping and Reporting: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information and loan transactions. • Prepare regular reports on loan disbursement and repayment performance.

Requirements

• A minimum of HND or Degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Finance, or Economics. • Strong analytical and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. • Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory.
