Driving sales initiatives and overseeing the sales process for certain projects inside the company are the responsibilities of a project sales manager. • Development of Sales Strategies: Develop and put into action focused sales plans for project-based sales that target certain clientele and markets. • Building and maintaining solid, trusting connections with clients by learning about their needs and providing tailored solutions is known as client relationship management. • Management of Proposals and Bids: Draft and deliver strong project proposals and bids that complement organisational capabilities and client needs. • Project Coordination: To guarantee that sales pitches and project execution are in line, work with internal teams (project management, operations) and proactively resolve any inconsistencies. • Negotiation: Oversee discussions with clients to reach agreements that guarantee advantageous terms and conditions for both parties. • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Track sales results against goals and update management on opportunities, pipeline status, and progress on a regular basis. • Market research: Analyse the market to find new prospects, developing patterns, and competitive dynamics. Modify sales tactics as necessary. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: To guarantee smooth communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle, collaborate closely with the marketing, finance, and operations teams. • Customer support: During the project implementation phase, act as the main point of contact for clients, immediately resolving any issues or concerns.
• Expertise in Sales and Negotiation: Demonstrated ability to meet or surpass sales goals in a project-based setting. • Outstanding Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to establish connections with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. • Strong knowledge of project management techniques and resources is a prerequisite for project management proficiency. • Analytical Thinking: The capacity to evaluate customer needs, sales performance, and market trends in order to guide strategic choices.
