This position is in charge of overseeing the entire hiring process from start to finish and determining cultural fit to put the best applicants. While utilising and encouraging the use of digital tools and resources, the talent acquisition specialist will also keep up with the most recent trends, best practices, and talent advancements in order to apply cutting-edge knowledge for the company.
• Developing Job Descriptions and Specifications: Create detailed and accurate job descriptions that align with the needs and goals of the company. • Sourcing and Recruiting Candidates: Use various platforms such as job boards, social media, and networking events to identify and engage potential candidates. • Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial phone screens, interviews, and assessments to evaluate applicants’ qualifications and cultural fit. • Coordinating with Hiring Managers: Work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure the selection process aligns with their expectations. • Managing the Candidate Experience: Maintain consistent communication with applicants throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience and build the company’s employer brand. • Tracking and Analyzing Recruitment Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators such as time-to-hire and cost-per-hire to optimize recruitment strategies and report on hiring progress.
• Five years or more of HR experience, ideally in talent acquisition • A degree or diploma in human resources is necessary, as is substantial experience working as a talent acquisition specialist. • Demonstrated ability to use a variety of digital sourcing methods for recruiting and selection • Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite
