The ideal applicant will be in charge of creating sales plans, leading a productive sales force, and cultivating enduring bonds with customers in the textile industry, particularly in the home textile and garment sectors.
• Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to reach revenue targets across African markets. • To optimise prospects, examine market trends and modify tactics as necessary. • To improve performance and meet sales targets, hire, develop, and coach the sales force. • Regularly assess employee performance and offer helpful criticism. • Create and preserve enduring connections with important customers and textile industry stakeholders. • To reach and surpass sales goals, negotiate contracts and close sales deals. • To determine new trends, consumer demands, and the competitive environment, do in-depth market research. • Create frequent reports on forecasts, market data, and sales performance. • Engage in conferences, trade exhibits, and industry events to expand your brand's reach and connect with possible customers.
• A bachelor's degree in textile engineering, business, marketing, or a similar discipline. • Seven or more years of sales management experience, ideally in the textile sector. • Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals and spur expansion in African countries. • Strong familiarity with textile products, markets, and trends. • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities. • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. • The capacity to visit African nations on a regular basis.
