The Workshop Manager is in charge of managing the daily activities of the auto-mobile workshop, making sure that services are delivered on time, upholding safety regulations and standards, keeping sufficient supplies of the required tools and equipment on hand, and carrying out appropriate maintenance procedures for these assets.
• Organise schedules, activities, and operational and human resources while managing jobs efficiently. • Make sure you order supplies for every activity as soon as possible. • Help with quality checks, project management, quoting, and supply acquisition. • Ensure that work numbers and time records are used accurately. • Oversee and perform comprehensive job estimate double-checks. • Handle incoming goods by processing bills, allocating supplies, and checking quantities. • Report on job progress on a regular basis and alert the head of operations to any delays or issues. • Work together with the Head of Operations to ensure correct information is provided by keeping lines of communication open and swiftly responding to client requests for job status updates. • To ensure client happiness, collect, evaluate, and diligently follow up on client feedback.
• Technical expertise in repairing cars and/or large machinery • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong managerial or supervisory experience • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities • Ability to function in a fast-paced atmosphere and handle different demands. • familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite • Outstanding organisational and time management abilities • A diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
