Catering Officer

Responsibilities

• Organise, plan, and carry out event catering services while making sure that customers' needs are satisfied. • Create specialised menus that satisfy customer preferences while staying within spending limits and event themes. • To guarantee flawless service delivery, oversee all facet of catering operations, including setup, personnel management, and logistics. • To maintain high service standards, oversee the hiring, training, and scheduling of catering employees. • To guarantee cost effectiveness in all catering activities, keep thorough financial records and supervise budgeting. • During preparation, transportation, and service, make sure that food safety and hygiene regulations are followed. • Work together with clients and other providers to guarantee top-notch event supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or HND in culinary arts, hospitality management, or a similar discipline. • 5+ years of experience managing a food service or catering business. • Expertise in preparing meals for a big crowd. • Expertise in personnel management, catering logistics, and event planning. • Outstanding culinary abilities and the capacity to prepare a lot of meals. • Excellent time-management and organising abilities, able to manage several tasks concurrently. • Demonstrated capacity to oversee sizable teams and maintain a high level of service quality under duress. • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to establish a good rapport with clients. • Expertise in cost-control strategies, budgeting, and inventory management
