Overview

Daily duties pertaining to the upkeep and repair of computer hardware systems are part of the position.

Responsibilities

• Installing and Configuring Hardware: Setting up computer systems, installing new hardware components, and configuring them for optimal performance. • Troubleshooting Hardware Issues: Diagnosing and resolving issues related to computer hardware, such as malfunctioning components or connectivity problems. • Maintaining Hardware Equipment: Performing regular maintenance on hardware to ensure longevity and efficient operation. • Repairing or Replacing Faulty Components: Fixing damaged or defective parts, such as motherboards, power supplies, hard drives, or peripheral devices. • Upgrading Existing Systems: Replacing outdated hardware with newer, more efficient components to enhance system performance. • Providing Technical Support: Assisting users with hardware-related inquiries, offering guidance on proper usage, and ensuring smooth operation of devices.

Requirements

• Ability to identify, fix, and maintain hardware components for computers, laptops, and CCTV cameras • Familiarity with computer accessories such monitors, printers, and scanners • Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting hardware • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Strong communication and customer service abilities; the capacity to operate both independently and collaboratively; and a certification in computer hardware or a similar subject are advantages. • Competence in installing and maintaining CCTV cameras
